We rented the Pomeroy Recreation Center for a bat mitzvah party for about 180 guests. The facility itself is very spacious, versatile, and easily accessible. It also has an abundance of free parking - something that it extremely unusual for San Francisco. I cannot say enough nice things about Lorraine, Roy, and the rest of the staff. Everybody that we encountered was very professional, easy to work with and NICE. Lorraine especially was extremely responsive and accommodating. All of our needs and special requests were met without any hassle. We are very happy to have chosen this venue.

I recently hosted my wife’s 40th birthday party at PRRC. To say I was pleased with the experience would be a dramatic understatement - everything went off without a hitch! The hall and kitchen are in terrific condition, and we were able to have a wonderful dance party. The sound system and lighting were great, and I appreciated being able to have a taco truck park very close to the hall to feed about 125 guests. Lorraine Scullion was wonderful to work with, striking the perfect balance between letting me have run of the hall and being there for any support I needed. She guided me through the whole process, answered all of my questions and really helped me make the night one my wife would never forget. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Fabulous party venue! The Pomeroy staff made all the organizing easy. The space was fun and easy to decorate, of course the lights and disco ball added an extra flair to the atmosphere! Plenty of space on the stage for our band, plenty of room for dancing! Affordable and parking!! What more could we ask for? Celebrating our special event at the Pomeroy Center was truly memorable for us and our guests!

We wanted to thank you again for helping us with our Celebration of Life event.  Pomeroy was definitely the right place to hold our event.  From the professional support we first received from you to the onsite assistance from Francisco and the support we received from Roy over the phone for an IT related issue, we felt that Pomeroy’s team was there for us every step of the way.  We had multiple guests that have lived in SF for years and never knew about this “diamond in the rough”!  They were as impressed as we were!  Thank you again and we look forward to possible future bookings at your venue!

The PRRC team has a great ability to work with a party planner in helping to make the event a success in every way.  In this regard, I think that the Pomeroy Center has it in spades over a lot of other facilities in the City.

For the last 10 years or more, we have hosted our fundraising auction for 450+ people at PRRC. Every year we transform the main hall and gym into a festive atmosphere with food, beverages, entertainment and hundreds of items to auction off, all over the course of one and a half days. The only way this is possible is through the support and guidance of the Pomeroy Center staff. They make sure we have everything we need to make the dream a reality. We keep coming back because it works.
