We are excited to announce that the Pomeroy Center is celebrating 70 years of recreational, vocational, and educational opportunities for hundreds of children, teens, and adults with disabilities. At this year’s Banner of Love, we will take a special look back at the last 70 years to see how far we’ve come: from Janet’s dream to serve people with disabilities in the community, to her establishment of the Center with six participants and two volunteers in a one-room, to the development of the multifaceted community center we are today – one that serves over 2,000 people per week!
