POMEROY YOUTH PROGRAMS

 

Pomeroy offers a range of stimulating, interactive, diverse and enriching social recreation activities for children, teens and transition age youth with disabilities. Activities include social groups, art & craft, dance, swimming, recreational sports, computer lab, community outings, self-help and life skills classes, sensory integrative activities and developmental social groups. 

POMEROY CHILDREN & TEEN STAFF

Staff average is 3+ years of experience working exclusively with children, teens and adults with disabilities. All lead teachers have a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Kinesiology or Art and Design.

Our team partners with Occupational Therapists, SLP clinics and Behavioral consultants to offer an individual/adaptive curriculum focused on developing fulfilling social relationships, fostering independence, and leading healthy, happy lives.

Our programs operate 6 days a week and 290 days a year

  • After-School 2PM - 6PM (Fall/Spring)
                            1PM - 6PM (ESY)

  • Saturday 10AM - 4PM

  • Summer Day Camps

    • NOON-6PM MAIN PROGRAM

    • 8:30AM-NOON MORNING PROGRAM (LIMITED AVAILABILITY)

ENROLLMENT

After School, Saturday, School Break Camp Enrollment runs on an ongoing basis.  Please complete the fillable Registration Form and Emergency Contact Form, along with your child’s most recent IEP, and email to ctoffice@prrcsf.org to begin the intake process.  


Upon enrollment, you will be asked to submit the
Physician's Medical Form, which must be completed by
your child's physician.


Summer Camp

Enrollment begins mid-March for individuals not currently enrolled in our afterschool program. Enrollment is first-come, first-served based on availability. Families must submit a registration form along with a copy of their child’s most recent IEP prior to scheduling an intake. All families must complete an intake process and turn in all enrollment paperwork in order to be offered a space.  Families are required to pay all fees GGRC or our scholarship doesn’t cover.
