Point of Transition

The Janet Pomeroy Center Point of Transition program offers community based activities to individuals
with disabilities who are interested in an integrated work program. The program allows access to
community based vocational, educational, recreational, and social opportunities.
A Community Integration Specialist works with 3-4 individuals to develop goals designed to meet the
unique needs of each consumer. Programs typically operate five days per week, usually Monday through
Friday for approximately six hours per day. Schedules may also be flexible depending on activities
and work schedules.
