Programs

The Janet Pomeroy Center (formerly Recreation Center for the Handicapped) is a nonprofit organization
that provides therapeutic recreation, vocational rehabilitation, child and adult development, and
respite care programs for individuals ages five through senior adult. Facilities include a therapeutic
swimming pool, gymnasium, computer lab, kitchen, stage, playground, community garden with a greenhouse,
and day camp. Through our programs and services we reach about 2,000 individuals per week.
