Casino Night
Casino Night is sponsored by the Center's longest running volunteer group, the Parents Auxiliary. Parents were the first volunteers to help Janet Pomeroy during the early years of operations at Fleishhacker Pool when the Center originated as the Recreation Center for the Handicapped in 1952. Janet Pomeroy asked the parents to organize an auxiliary to help raise program funds. Casino Night has been the Parents premiere fundraising event since 1980.
