Banner of Love
The Banner of Love was founded in 1985 by Mrs. Elaine Arata who formed a committee of dedicated women volunteers to plan and present a fundraising event to benefit and publicize The Janet Pomeroy Center. With the assistance of the Center's staff it has become the Center's annual fundraiser held in the month of May.
Today, the Banner of Love Ladies Auxiliary is consisted of 45 volunteer members who start planning in the month of September. For a whole year the ladies dedicate many volunteer hours to host a dinner, silent and live auction for 400 guests.
